January 27-31, 2019 (Sunday-Thursday) - Bethel, Maine
Skiing magazine rates Bethel "the best ski town in the universe."

Inn accommodations; group dinners at local restaurants.

February 8-12, 2019 (Friday-Tuesday) - Garnet Hill (Adirondacks)
A four-day weekend trip to "The Jewel of the Adirondacks". House rental with most meals in-house make this trip a bargain.
n. b. Trip is sold out, but we are looking for a second rental house.

February 20-24, 2019 (Wednesday-Sunday) - BREIA/Osceola (Tug Hill Plateau), New York
Ski at BREIA (Black River Environmental Improvement Association) and the Osceola-Tug Hill Ski Center;
both areas with groomed trails and rentals. Hotel accommodations; dinners at local restaurants

February 24-March 2, 2019 (Sunday-Saturday) - Ski Week in the Laurentians
The Laurentian region of Quebec, one hour north of Montreal, is a cross-country ski paradise. Our lodging is within a half-hour's drive of six full-service cross-country ski centers. The region's network of backcountry trails passes right by the lodge. Accommodations at a moderately priced mountain lodge, with full breakfasts and dinners served at the lodge.

March 8-10, 2019 (Friday-Sunday) - Prospect Mountain (Vermont)
Weekend trip to southern Vermont. 2000-foot elevation makes for great snowfall.
Motel accommodations; group dinners at local restaurants.

We would be happy to schedule additional trips if someone offers to lead one.

Note: On overnight trips where dinners are not part of the accommodations package, group dinners will be arranged by the trip leaders.

Day Trips

Beginners' Ski Instruction Day

Beginners' Day Trip to High Point State Park

The dates of the above activities will be determined once the snow season begins.

We schedule very few day trips far in advance because of the unpredictability of snow conditions. Most day trips are organized on short notice as snow conditions permit through the e-mail listserv of the Yahoo Group "njnordic". These trips are initiated by individual members of the Yahoo Group. They are not approved or sponsored by the New Jersey Nordic Ski Club, and all liability rests with the individuals involved. Click here to visit the Yahoo Group njnordic.
