Overnight Trips 2007-08 (For day trips see below.)

January 14 - 16 (Monday-Wednesday) Bretton Woods, New Hampshire Experience the beauty and luxury of the historic Mount Washington Hotel at bargain mid-week prices. Abundant ski trails and abundant snow in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.

February 1 - 4 (Friday-Monday) Lake Placid Weekend Ski on groomed trails at one of the region's full-service ski centers, including the Olympic trails at Mount van Hoevenberg. Or head for the woods on one of the many backcountry trails that criss-cross the area. Moderately priced B&B/inn or apartment-style accommodations.

February 15 - 18 (Friday-Sunday) Tug Hill Plateau Weekend Situated just east of Lake Ontario, the Tug Hill Plateau offers dependable lake effect snow and boasts several cross-country ski centers. Reasonably priced lodging and meals are another attraction of this trip.

February 24 - March 1 (Sunday-Saturday) Laurentian Ski Week Our twentieth annual trip to the Laurentians, one hour north of Montreal. Seven cross-country ski centers are within a half-hour of the lodge, and the magnificent Mont-Tremblant Provincial Park is an hour away. Attention beginners: Lessons will be available; if you are a beginner or novice skier, our six-hour instructional package will take you to the intermediate level. Moderately priced hotel accommodations, all meals included.

Note: On the weekend trips, group dinners will be arranged by the trip leaders, although they are not part of the accommodations package. On the Laurentian Ski Week, all meals are included.

We may add an additional weekend trip to the schedule. Check again during the season.

Note: Membership is a requirement for overnight trips. Non-members are welcome to join us for day trips.

Day Trips

Beginners' Ski Instruction Day at Pocono Environmental Education Center (PEEC) in Dingman's Ferry, Pennsylvania. There will be a morning lesson followed by discussion and lunch. Fee $20.

Beginners' Day Trip to High Point State Park

The dates of the above activities will be determined once the snow season begins.

We schedule most of our day trips on one or two days' notice when snow conditions permit. Members are automatically notified of these trips by e-mail. Non-members can find out about these trips by calling the Ski Hotline at (973)743-4833 between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. only.
